Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 4โ€“8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Buffet at (760) 291-5500; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is valleyviewcasino.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 457 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Valley Center is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Valley Center is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This buffet is one of my favorites, the food is so delicious, great portions. We always went in a huge group so we need to wait a little bit. The service is almost perfect, they treated us so well except for one person, seems like she doesnโ€™t like us and even speak to us when she had to attend us, all the other personal came and attend us, her name is Teresa, we hope a change just in that situation, but everything else is so great๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Limited to 3 dishes for appetitizers, main dish, and desserts. Super long wait time expected for a busy casino.

So Iโ€™m not much of a gambler- But Iโ€™m thinking about becoming one here so I can go to this buffet more often. Anyone who says anything negative about this buffet Has unresolved issues- And I would recommend a heavy dose of gratefulness- The service is amazingly fast, considering that there constantly serving 20 people at a time- The food is almost too good- What I mean by that is.. Most places have something they do well- If itโ€™s a great place, maybe thereโ€™s a handful of things but the truth is is that everything here is incredible- Iโ€™m sure you could find a few exceptions- But why? Is it expensive if you donโ€™t have points? Yes, Is there a long wait? Of course, anything good has a long wait - But it isnโ€™t too bad & you pay for what you get right here but youโ€™re amazing- This is such a blessing to eat here. The food is incredible. Shoot, even the coffee was good! I think you should gamble your life savings away so you can get a black card- And a whole bunch of these free buffets!

I read the reviews and the one that really made my head spin, was the โ€œindividualโ€ (Iโ€™m trying to be nice here) who was opposed to servers bringing you your food. She preferred that the public be allowed to touch the serving spoons and God knows what else, with their germy little hands. Where was she raised? In a jungle? Iโ€™m sorry, but anyone who pays attention in public bathrooms, not everyone washes their hands, and only 1/2 of those who do, do so for longer than five seconds. For the love of God and baby koalas, please let the servers serve us! They are quick, efficient, have an eye for detail, and prevent idiots from spilling food everywhere walking around with overflowing plates. If youโ€™re hungry after four courses, you can have them bring you more food. Itโ€™s called a BUFFET for a reason. All you can eat. Duh, โ€œindividual.โ€ Is her name Karen? Iโ€™ve been there a couple of times now. The prime rib is delicious and their mashed potatoes are better than Grandmaโ€™s, but donโ€™t tell Granny that! I really enjoyed the grilled asparagus and cauliflower. The salad is on hit, and mom loved her clam chowder. They have something for everyone. Italian to Mexican to seafood and southern fried
